How it works

A clear path from first call to goods you trust.

Briefing call

We start with the free 15-min consultation: your product, target volume, timeline and what is blocking you. You leave with a written plan.

I hit the factory floor

I visit shortlisted factories in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan or Guangzhou — verifying the business license, the line, and that your order actually exists.

You get a video-audit report

Photos, video walk-throughs and a bilingual report. You see what I see; nothing is hidden behind a salesperson’s WeChat.

I negotiate & manage

FOB negotiation, sample coordination, NNN agreements and pre-shipment QC — through to goods you trust leaving the port.

What clients say

Representative outcomes from sourcing, hardware, and QC engagements.

Defects dropped from 12% to under 2% and our per-unit cost fell 22% after Jing switched us to a vetted factory in Pingshan. The first order paid for the retainer.

DTC home brandFounder · Germany

We were three weeks from a funding milestone with a board that wouldn’t boot. Having someone on the floor in Bao’an who understood both DFM and our schedule saved the launch.

Hardware startupCTO · United States

First Canton Fair, totally overwhelmed. Jing pre-matched booths, translated, and flagged two traders posing as factories. I came home with a real shortlist.

Frequently asked questions

How does the free 15-min consultation work?
It is a 60-minute video call with a pre-call worksheet and a written follow-up memo with factory recommendations and next steps. The $150 is credited in full to any package you book within 30 days, so for serious buyers it is effectively free. There is no online payment — you confirm and pay by reply after we schedule.
Why hire you instead of a free Alibaba sourcing agent?
Free agents are paid commission by the factories they refer you to, so their incentives are not yours. I work only for you: I visit factories in person in Shenzhen, Dongguan and Guangzhou, give you the real factory names rather than storefronts, and negotiate FOB prices down on your behalf. The savings on a single order usually cover the fee.
What size of business do you work with?
Mostly Amazon/DTC private-label sellers doing $0.5M–$10M, funded hardware startups moving from prototype to volume, and established brands diversifying their supply chain. If you are pre-revenue with one idea, the free 15-min consultation is the right starting point.
Do you charge a percentage or a flat fee?
Both models exist. One-off projects (Sourcing Sprint, Prototyping Sprint, QC visits) are flat fees so you know the cost up front. Ongoing relationships run on a monthly retainer. I do not take hidden factory commissions — my fee is the only money I make on your order.
Which languages and markets do you serve?
English and Mandarin/Cantonese on the ground, with buyers across the US, EU, Latin America, Japan and the Middle East. Reports and contracts are delivered bilingually (English + Chinese). The site is published in six languages.
Can an AI agent book on my behalf?
Yes. Service data and pricing are published in machine-readable form at /llms.txt and agents.json, and an agent can submit a booking request to /api/contact. See the For AI Agents section below.
